  • Learn All About Animals: Mammals with the Zion Nature Center staff during a Facebook Live session at 10 a.m.
  • Save a life at the Simply Yoga Blood Drive in Zionsville. Click here to schedule an appointment.
  • Get inspired at the First Internet Bank Home-A-Rama at Holiday Farms in Zionsville from 2:30 – 6 p.m. $25 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
  • Enjoy the Steak & Catfish Dinner at the American Legion Post 410 in Whitestown from 5 – 7 p.m. $10.50 – $19 per meal.
  • Order a carry out dinner from a local restaurant and enjoy dinner and music with the Back Porch Pickers. They will be at the Lions Shelter in Thorntown from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
  • Pack a picnic and attend Polo at Sunset at Hickory Hall Polo Club in Whitestown from 6 – 9 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. $20 per car. Proceeds benefit the Ascension St. Vincent House.
  • Bring the kids for BINGO and Movie Night in the Park at Tom Johnson Memorial Park in Thorntown. Bingo begins at 7 p.m. followed by the movie Sonic the Hedgehog at 8 p.m.
  • Treat your family to classic movies at M.E.L.S. at the Starlite Drive-In in Mechanicsburg. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. Tonight’s classic movies include “Little Shop of Horrors” and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” $25 per carload.

  • Purchase locally grown produce, plants, foods, coffee and tea, breads and pastries, pasta, peanut butter, eggs and meats at the final Zionsville Farmers’ Market of the season from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at Zionsville Town Hall. Social Distancing Guidelines will be followed.
  • Stretch and destress with Blooming Life Yoga at Lions Club Park in Zionsville at 9 a.m.
  • Get your sweet tooth fix at the Thorntown Kiwanis Club Elephant Ears booth in Thorntown from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Explore the Sugar Creek Art Center’s September Exhibition in Thorntown from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The exhibit will feature rural Midwest views from a variety of artists.
  • Grab a pencil and paper and join in Saturday Scribbles with Hussey Mayfield Public Library. This is a casual art tutorial series where you can learn techniques from character design to zentangle patterns. Each Saturday a new tutorial will be posted at 11 a.m.
  • Learn about Remote Control cars at the RC Crawlers Meet Up at Abner Longley Park in Lebanon beginning at 11 a.m.
  • Bring the family and join a Naturalist for a Family Nature Hike through the Zion Nature Sanctuary at 2 p.m. in Zionsville. The group will explore the trails and look for blooming flowers, singing birds, and other interesting animals.
