  • Enjoy breakfast for dinner at the 66th Annual Lebanon Kiwanis Pancake Supper from 4:30 – 8 p.m. at the Boone County Fairgrounds. This year’s event will be Drive-thru only. All attendees should enter the fairgrounds from Indianapolis Avenue and follow the signs. $8 pp / Ages 4 and under are free. All proceeds benefit youth programs supported by the Lebanon Kiwanis Club.
  • Help out at the Pleasant Acres Nature Park Flower Bed Clean Up in Jamestown beginning at 6 p.m. Be sure to bring work gloves and trowels.

Friday, September 17

  • Join the youth librarians at Lincoln Park gazebo for Romp and Stomp and enjoy music and movement beginning at 10:30 a.m. Ages infant – grade 5.
  • Meet new friends at the CICOA Senior Luncheon at the Thorntown Library – Room 116 at 11:30 a.m.
  • Explore the Opening Reception: Flava Fresh!, an award-winning multi venue, Indianapolis, Indiana based art events project, at SullivanMunce Cultural Center in Zionsville from 5 – 8 p.m.
  • Experience Polo at Sunset at Hickory Hall Polo Club in Whitestown from 6 – 9 p.m. Bring your own food, drinks, seating, and tents to enjoy tailgating, and music at this family friendly event. $40 per car. Proceeds benefit the Isenhower Family Scholarship Fund, Boone County 4-H and Zionsville Education Foundation.
  • Kick off your weekend at the Back to the 50’s Festival at the Boone County Fairgrounds beginning at 6 p.m. Enjoy live music from ‘The Bulldogs,” Classic Car Cruise-In, the Pacer Fan Van and a costume parade.
  • Join in a game of Friday Night Magic at Friendly City Games in Lebanon starting at 6:15 p.m. $5 entry fee.
  • Take in the play, “The Guys” at Center Stage Community Theater in Lebanon beginning at 7:30 p.m. This timeless drama explores the surprising truths people can discover in ordinary lives, and the connections we make with others and ourselves in times of tragedy. $15 – $17 pp
  • Enjoy the classic film “Meet Me In St. Louis” at Maplelawn Farmstead in Zionsville. Bring your lawn chairs for this outdoor event to being at dusk (approximately 8:00 pm). Pizza, desserts, and drinks will be available for purchase. Gates open at 7 p.m.
  • Take the kids to M.E.L.S. at the Starlite Drive-In in Mechanicsburg for an old-fashioned drive-in movie night. Box office opens at 7:30 p.m. $25 per carload.

Saturday, September 18

  • Purchase locally grown produce, plants, foods, coffee and tea, breads and pastries, pasta, peanut butter, eggs, and meats at the Zionsville Farmers’ Market from 8 – 11:30 a.m. between Pine & Hawthorne Streets in downtown Zionsville.
  • Have fun at the Back to the 50’s Festival at the Boone County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday events include a classic car show, a variety of musical acts, magic show, Silly Safaris and “The Flying Toaster’s concert at 6 p.m.
  • Explore Tru-Finds Treasures Outdoor Market in Lebanon from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Join Blooming Life Yoga for Free Community Yoga at Lions Park in Zionsville at 9 a.m.
  • Check out Monarchs and Milkweed at Elm Street Green in Zionsville to learn all about these amazing creatures, their incredible life cycle, and the long journey they make each year. The program begins at 10 a.m.
  • Check out Farm Days at Wonder Tree Regenerative Farm in Zionsville from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will be chicks, ducks, goats, donkeys, piggies, horse rides, cotton candy, desserts, refreshments, and freedom to explore the countryside. $10 per car
  • Stock up at the Wisewood Farm Produce Stand at Donaldson’s Finer Chocolates in Lebanon  from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and then pick up a sweet treat for the trip home.
  • Bring the kids to the DIY Fleece Pillows craft session at the Lebanon Public Library beginning at 11 a.m.
  • Visit the Heritage Museum and learn about the history of Thorntown from 11 – 4 p.m. or check out the art exhibitions and gift shop at Sugar Creek Art Center in Thorntown between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Enjoy a glass of wine and live music at Hopwood Winery & Distillery in Zionsville from 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Join in a raucous celebration of the birthplace of dank beer during Oktoberfest at Moontown Brewery in Whitestown from 2 – 11 p.m. There will be live music, friendly competitions, the tapping of Oktoberfest lager, and delicious German-inspired fare. Live music by the 3:1 band. 21+ $25-$30 pp
  • Head to Advance’s downtown park for the Ninety-Nine Outdoor Concert beginning at 4 p.m. Be sure to bring a chair and snacks.
  • Get ready for a great night as the Pit Masters are ready to bring it at the Whitestown American Legion BBQ Cook Off beginning at 6 p.m. $10-$12 per meal
  • Take the kids to Movies in the Park at Main Street Park in Whitestown beginning at 7:30 p.m. This public safety themed night features the movie “Playing With Fire.” The little ones can also try out the WFD’s Firefighter Experience Course.
