Thursday, July 8

  • Follow the clues during the Town Treasure Hunt at the Thorntown Public Library beginning at 2 p.m. Kids can return to the library after finding the clues and receive a prize!
  • CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN: Shop local meat, produce, and artisan items at the Whitestown Farmers’ Market from 5 – 8 p.m. at Main Street Park.
  • Enjoy a night out and turn your tablet into a “real” book during the DIY Book Cover Class at Between the Pages Bookstore in Lebanon. The class begins at 6 p.m. $10 pp
  • Take in the play Doubt, an inspired study in moral uncertainty with the compelling certain structure of an old-fashioned detective drama, at Center Stage Community Theatre in Lebanon. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. $13-16 pp

Friday, July 9

  • Meet new friends at the CICOA Senior Luncheon at the Thorntown Library – Room 116 at 11:30 a.m.
  • Go back in time as you explore The Escape Trail at Dull’s Tree Farm in Mechanicsburg. $12-$20 pp (Friday & Saturday)
  • Experience Polo at Sunset at Hickory Hall Polo Club in Whitestown from 5 – 9 p.m. Bring your own food, drinks, seating, and tents to enjoy tailgating, music, and an airplane candy drop for the kids at this family friendly event. $40 per car. Proceeds benefit Hoosier Burn Camp.
  • Join in a game of Friday Night Magic at Friendly City Games in Lebanon starting at 6:15 p.m. $5 entry fee.
  • Kick-off your weekend at the Summer Concert Series featuring the music of Grove Smash at the Whitestown Municipal Complex. The doors open at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free of charge. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs.
  • Enjoy a Summer Concert on the Lawn at Azionaqua in Zionsville beginning at 7 p.m. This week’s featured band is Notable Measures.

  • Check out Music on the Plaza on the historic Lebanon Downtown Square beginning at 7:30 p.m. Lydia Jane is the featured entertainment.
  • Head to Mechanicsburg and enjoy a movie at Mel’s at the Starlite Drive-In. Box office opens at 7:30 p.m. $25 a carload.

Saturday, July 10

  • Purchase locally grown produce, plants, foods, coffee and tea, breads and pastries, pasta, peanut butter, eggs, and meats at the Zionsville Farmers’ Market from 8 – 11:30 a.m. between Pine & Hawthorne Streets in downtown Zionsville.
  • Join Blooming Life Yoga for Free Community Yoga at Lions Park in Zionsville at 9 a.m.
  • Test out your next kayak during Moving Waters Outfitters Kayak Demo Days at Boone’s Pond (off of I-65 & SR 267) from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Bike with A Cop meet up at Clark Meadows Pool in Whitestown at 10 a.m. Be safe and wear a helmet!
  • Bring your business & personal documents to Shred Day at The UPS Store on Whitestown Parkway from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Up to 100 lbs shredded at no charge.
  • Celebrate National Kitten Day at PetCo in Whitestown from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will be food, games, prizes, adoptable kittens from the Humane Society for Boone County.
  • Visit the Wisewood Farm Produce Stand at Donaldson’s Finer Chocolates in Lebanon  from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and then pick up a sweet treat for the trip home.
  • Get your Christmas shopping started early as you shop over 90 local vendors with unique, handmade items during Dull’s Tree Farm Christmas in July Vendor Market in Mechanicsburg. The market runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. $5 pp
  • Check out the art exhibitions and gift shop at Sugar Creek Art Center in Thorntown between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Get crafty at the Bi-fold Wallet Class at Samson Leather Craft Room in Lebanon beginning at 6 p.m. $30 pp

Sunday, July 11

  • Bring the family for food, fun, and tabletop games at Books & Brews in Zionsville from 12 – 8 p.m. Kids eat free!
  • Get your Christmas shopping started early as you shop over 90 local vendors with unique, handmade items during Dull’s Tree Farm Christmas in July Vendor Market in Mechanicsburg. The market runs from 1 – 5 p.m. $5 pp
  • Take in the play Doubt, an inspired study in moral uncertainty with the compelling certain structure of an old-fashioned detective drama, at Center Stage Community Theatre in Lebanon. The show begins at 2:30 p.m. $13-16 pp
