Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Vice President of Investments and Partnerships, a role that will focus on securing financial investments through fundraising and managing partner relationships. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our organization by identifying investment/fundraising opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and maximizing value for our stakeholders.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in business development and relationship management.

Salary: Full Time | Up to $85,000 annual base salary

What you will do:

  • Fundraising
  • Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategy that integrates with Boone EDC initiatives
  • Investor cultivation and stewardship
  • Budgeting and reporting
  • Special event planning
  • Represent Boone EDC at events

The ideal candidate:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree or has commensurate work experience
  • Experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in securing investments, donations, and/or sponsorships and managing relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing innovative business development strategies to achieve objectives
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Passion for driving growth, creating value, and making a positive impact
