The Arc of Greater Boone County
The Arc of Greater Boone County exists to assist people with disabilities and special needs to achieve their maximum potential in partnership with the community. Starting in the 1950s, a group of Boone County residents came together with a purpose of providing local opportunities for people with disabilities. The organization was later incorporated with longstanding local support, and it continues to make progress toward its mission. The Arc is a local, state and national organization with chapters in every state. The Arc of Greater Boone County is the local chapter of The Arc of Indiana.
