Lebanon, Ind. – The Boone County Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) announces the hiring of Sarah Ford as Manager of Talent Development. Ford will play an integral role in developing and executing workforce development and talent attraction initiatives.

Ford has more than 15 years of non-profit experience with a special affinity for agriculture from her time with the Indiana Pork Producers Association. Ford has served in many capacities locally including for the Town of Whitestown as a member of the Redevelopment Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and Plan Commission.

“Sarah’s experience of economic development within Boone County as well as heart for advocating for others will provide great value to our strategic efforts as we grow our community and elevate our workforce,” said Boone EDC Executive Director Molly Whitehead.

Ford holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University – both in agricultural communications.

“Over the past 12 years, my family and I have been blessed to call Boone County home. I am excited to work with our local employers to show them the great resources Boone County EDC has to offer,” said Ford. “Boone County is not only a great place to live – it’s also a great place to work!”.
