2015-07-14 08.57.26August 10th, 2015 – WHITESTOWN, Ind. – Reliable transportation is a key issue with many employees in today’s workforce.  Many employers in Boone County draw upon a regional workforce, necessitating new ways of helping employees get to their jobs in Boone County.

The new Whitestown Connector from the Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA) will connect Indianapolis residents with jobs in the AllPoints at Anson Business Park in Whitestown.  Riders have two different opportunities to connect with AllPoints at Anson:

1.) Once a day, the shuttle picks up riders at 5:15am at Capitol and Ohio Streets in downtown Indianapolis, and travels directly to AllPoints at Anson.

2.)  The rest of the day, the shuttle picks up and drops off riders at IndyGo’s Route 37/Route 86 stop at the Trader’s Point Shopping Center.

Riders pay only $1.00 per fare.  This makes an extremely economical way for employees to connect to their employers.   Routes, schedules, and other answers to questions can be found at the Whitestown Connector Page.  The Boone EDC looks forward to the success of this route and hopes that it will open the door for further extensions into the rest of Boone County.
