- The Boone County 4-H Fair continues through Friday.
- Get the family together and enjoy some outdoor fun at Recreation on Wheels at Walker Park in Whitestown. There will be a variety of toys and games for all ages beginning at 9 a.m.
- The Zionsville Public Library is hosting a Rockin’ Together: A Musical Magic Show for ages 5-12 at 4 and 6 p.m. Magician Daniel Lusk will present a lively musical magic show to celebrate the end of summer reading.
Friday, July 27
- The Boone County 4-H Fair is hosting the Color Me Green Run. All ages are welcome to participate in the 2K walk/run that starts at 10 a.m.
- Zionsville Public Library is hosting Last Blast Bingo at 11 a.m. for students in grades 6 through college. Get a BINGO and unwrap a gift or steal one already opened. This free event will have great prizes and someone will even win a Kindle Fire.
- Whitestown Parks is hosting a movie matinee at noon in the gymnasium. The movie will be picked by the crowd vote and free popcorn is provided.
- Head to downtown Lebanon for the Lebanon City Market Friday from 4-7 p.m.
- Enjoy an evening of polo at the Hickory Hall Polo Club in Whitestown. Games begin at 6 p.m.

Saturday, July 28
- Swing by the Zionsville Farmers Market from 8-11 a.m. for live music and food vendors.
- Zionsville Community Schools is hosting their first Strong in Every Way Community Challenge that begins at 8 a.m. Register your team to compete in DanceFit, kickball, corn hole, volleyball, inner tube relays and tug of war. There will be food trucks and a kids/safety zone provided for down time.
- United Way of Boone County is hosting their annual Backpack United Festival at the Lebanon Area Boys and Girls Club from 9-11 a.m. Backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed to Boone County students while supplies last.
- Stop by the Whitestown Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Whitestown Municipal Complex.
- Join the Boone Co Jail Restaurant & Bar for Jailbreak to the Catacombs. You will start with lunch at the Boone Co Jail Restaurant at noon then drive the backroads to Indianapolis to tour the City Market catacombs.
- Whitestown’s Village Dance Studio is hosting a variety of events to celebrate National Dance Day. Activities will be from 1-5 p.m. in studio and from 6-8 p.m. at Mulberry Fields Park.

- The Zionsville Lions Club presents their free family concerts in Lions Park. Music begins at 7 p.m.
- The Boone County Community Band is hosting a concert at Lebanon Memorial Park. Music begins at 7 p.m.
Just read the article on the new developments on S. Lebanon St. While a face lift is certainly needed in that area, I would think that the buildings design would be more in line with the historic downtown. Also, there was no mention of what is going to happen with the businesses there. What is happening to Bekah’s Cafe and the apartment building?
Hi Valerie. According to the article, the developer (Forza) plans to acquire the building, so I would reach out them with your question.
