Pitch Night

The Boone County Economic Development Corporation and zWORKS have partnered together to organize Boone County’s first entrepreneurial pitching competition. Our mission is to help grow and promote entrepreneurs and start-ups in Boone County.

What is Pitch Night?
Pitch Night is a competition for entrepreneurs to present their business plans to gain exposure in front of investors and the local community. As an advocacy platform, Pitch Night facilitates a community-based event which raises awareness to the talents of local entrepreneurs in and surrounding Boone County.
When and where?
Pitch Night is on Thursday, October 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the Zionsville Underground located in the Carter Building (91 S Main Street, Zionsville, IN 46077). Free reserved parking is included with admission.

Registration and networking begins at 6 p.m. Pitching will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Who can pitch?
All startups companies and entrepreneurs who have a scalable business plan and live, work or want to start their business in Boone County, Indiana are eligible to apply.

How do I apply to pitch?
Applications are due by September 14, 2019. Click here to apply.

Five pitchers will be selected to pitch at the event.

What's the prize?
The winner will receive one year of free rent in a dedicated office at zWORKS, Boone County Indiana’s only entrepreneurial and co-working center, as well as several other in-kind donations.

There will also be a People’s Choice Award judged by the event’s attendees, which will be a cash prize.

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets are $25 and include admission, parking and heavy appetizers. A cash bar is also available.

Proceeds from ticket sales are re-invested in programming for Boone County entrepreneurs offered by zWORKS and the Boone EDC.
