  • Read around the square at the Lebanon Public Library’s first downtown Story Stroll! Start at the library for Stop #1. Each stop will tell you what downtown business window to go to next to continue the story!
  • Visit Art In Hand Gallery in Zionsville throughout the month of October and bid on the Silent Auction items designed by local artists and the Arc Artisans. Proceeds to benefit the Arc of Greater Boone County.
  • Explore Countryside Antique Mall near Thorntown from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Join in the Quilters Club at Thorntown Library from 12:30 – 2 p.m.
  • Save a life at the Community Blood Drive at the Thorntown Public Library from 1 – 5 p.m.
  • Join in some Halloween fun during the Trunk-or-Treat at Pet Supplies Plus in Whitestown from 6 – 8 p.m. This family (and pet!) friendly event is a perfect way to safely celebrate the spooky season!
  • Get ready to be scared as you venture through Fright Forest at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon. The frightful fun begins runs from 7:30 – 11 p.m. $5 – $10 per person.
  • Treat your family to classic movies at M.E.L.S. at the Starlite Drive-In in Mechanicsburg. Gates open at 7:30 p.m.
  • Enjoy the hottest mixes at the Onesie Party at That Sports Bar in Lebanon beginning at 10 p.m. $5 cover, but wear a onesie and get in free!

Saturday, October 24

  • Check out classic cars during Indianapolis Cars & Coffee at Lions Club Park in Zionsville from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m.
  • Run or walk your way through the annual Trick or Trot 5K in Lebanon at 9 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Boone County Shop with a Cop. Register here.
  • Calling all pet lovers! Be sure to attend the Great Indy Pet Expo at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. $10 admission.
  • Kick off your weekend at Dull’s Pumpkin Harvest in Mechanicsburg from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Enjoy pumpkin picking, big slides, slingshots, tire mountain, corn maze, wagon ride, barrel train, the corn maze and 30 plus other activities for your family to enjoy! Timed entrance tickets must be purchased in advance. $9 – 12 per person / 2 and under free.
  • Enjoy hayrides, pumpkin painting, S’mores, kettle corn and hot cider during Pumpkins in the Park at Lebanon Memorial Park from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. $5.00 per child. Bring a mask to wear when social distancing is not possible.
  • Bring the kids to the free Fall Festival at Heavenly Acres Farm in Thorntown from 11 – 4 p.m. Hayrides and pumpkin picking (while supplies last).
  • Peruse the Sugar Creek Art Center’s October Exhibition: INFiber Color Explosion by quilters of Boone County from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Grab a pencil and paper and join in Saturday Scribbles with Hussey Mayfield Public Library. This is a casual art tutorial series where you can learn techniques from character design to zentangle patterns. Each Saturday a new tutorial will be posted at 11 a.m.
  • Learn about Remote Control cars at the RC Crawlers Meet Up at Abner Longley Park in Lebanon beginning at 11 a.m.
  • Meet other experienced and beginner native plant gardeners for the Native Seed Swap at Mulberry Fields in Zionsville beginning at 2 p.m. Be sure to register!
  •  Bring the kids to the Trick or Treat Trail, a fun, safe, family-friendly trick-or-treating event around Anson Acres Park in Whitestown from 4 – 8 p.m.
  • Pile in your car and experience Mischief on Meridian’s Drive-Thru Halloween event from 4 – 7 p.m. Vehicles will enter Memorial Park at the East Street entrance to line up and be released onto Meridian Street for some Halloween fun! Decorate your car and enter the contest!
  • Get into the Halloween spirit during the Trunk or Treat and Trail of Terror at Advance Town Park. Friendly hours: 6 – 7 p.m. / Scary hours 7 – 9 p.m. There will also be Hot Dogs, Chili, Hot Chocolate and a Costume Contest.

  • Enjoy a fun-filled family day at Dull’s Pumpkin Harvest in Mechanicsburg from 1 – 7 p.m. Enjoy pumpkin picking, big slides, slingshots, tire mountain, corn maze, wagon ride, barrel train, the corn maze and 30 plus other activities for your family to enjoy!   • Join in a fun evening of candy and laughter during Trunk or Treat at Thorntown Elementary from 4 – 5:15 p.m.
  • Bring back balance to your mind/body/soul during the free Community Yoga Class at the Indiana Yoga Studio in Lebanon. Be sure to register online for this 5 p.m. class.
