  • Bring the kiddos to the GoNoodle Party, a fun, musical fitness event, at the Zionsville Public Library beginning at 10:30 a.m. For ages 6 – 12.
  • Bring your quilting project and make new friends at Thorntown Public Library from 12:30 – 2 p.m.
  • Join in the Gamer’s Guild at the Lebanon Public Library and try your hand at Just Dance or Mario Kart, help with our weekly puzzle or challenge someone to a game of UNO. All ages welcome between 3 – 6 p.m.
  • Choose from a variety of video games at Game On! at Hussey-Mayfield Public Library in Zionsville. Sign up not required, just show up and have fun between 4 – 5 p.m.  For students in grades 6-12 only.
  • Get ready to scream at Indiana Fear Farm in Jamestown from 7 – 11 p.m.  Attractions include the Haunted Hayride featuring the headless horseman and the Slaughter Barn, Indiana’s scariest haunted barn. Prices ranges from $13 – $24 per person.
  • Take a scary hike or a haunted hayride at Fright Forest located at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon from 7:30 – 11 p.m. Tickets are $5-$10.

Saturday, October 19

  • Search for hidden treasures at the Tru-Finds Flea Market at Tru-Finds Treasures in Lebanon from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Put on your work gloves to help sod and landscape during Landscape Day at the Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build in Lebanon from 9 – 3 p.m.
  • Learn how to navigate Microsoft Word at the Lebanon Public Library Computer Class. This free class begins at 10 a.m.
  • Bring the dogs for the Tails on the Trail Group Dog Walk. Meet at the Big 4 Rail Trail North in Zionsville at 10 a.m.
  • Race through the gravel roads of Boone County at the 5th annual Harvest 50 Gravel Ride & Race at Maplelawn Farmstead in Zionsville. The race begins at 10 a.m. $55 entry fee. Proceeds benefit Maplelawn Farmstead.
  • Take a hike through a 5-acre corn maze and pick a pumpkin at the 5th Annual Pumpkin Harvest at Dull’s Tree Farm in Thorntown from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Re-energize with food from the Feed Bunk and wash it down with a refreshing apple cider slushie. Admission $10 per person, 2 and under free.
  • Find your fur-ever friend at the Adoption Event at PetValu in Whitestown from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Calling all Sherlockians and Trekkies, Meet The Author – Nicholas Meyer at Black Dog Books in Zionsville from 12 – 2 p.m. He will sign copies of his latest Sherlock Holmes book, “The Adventure of the Peculiar Protocols.”
  • Celebrate Halloween in a sensory-friendly environment at Piece by Piece Autism Center in Lebanon from 4 – 6 p.m.
  • Join in the 4th Annual Fall Festival at Jamestown Christian Church from 4 – 7 p.m. There will be live music, food, Trail of Treats”, bounce house, hayride and other fun activities for kids.
