Boone County goes BIG for Independence Day, join in one of our many celebrations! There’s a fun-filled week packed with activities to celebrate the holiday – don’t miss out!

 

The Poor Jack Carnival

The annual Poor Jack Carnival visits Lebanon Memorial Park again this year. It opens Tuesday, June 29 and continues through Sunday, July 4th opening at 6pm nightly. The fee for a wristband giving access to unlimited rides is $20. Take your kids and enjoy this timeless tradition full of rides and prizes!

 

Worship Night 

Join in on an evening of praise and worship at the Lebanon Memorial Park bandstand from 6:30-8:00pm on Wednesday, June 30th!

 

Tri Kappa Music Fest

Jump start your holiday weekend with the Tri Kappa Music Fest on Thursday, July 1st at 6pm at the Lebanon Memorial Park. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a night full of local music, dance, and other performance groups! Come out and enjoy the entertainment and concessions!

 

Whitestown Independence Day Celebration

On July 3rd, join the celebration happening at Eagle Church in Whitestown! There will be live music, ice cream, carnival food, a kid zone, and fireworks to end the night! It starts at 5pm and fireworks will start around 10pm. Learn more here. 

 

Star Spangled Pedal Parade

Sponsored by the Silvia’s Child Advocacy Center, the pedal parade is a bike parade around Lebanon Memorial Park for children up to 15 years old. Join in decorating your bike and pedaling around the park on July 3rd at 1:30pm. There is a contest and prize for the best decorated bike! Learn more here.

 

Tim Neuman Concert

Enjoy the free concert at Lebanon Memorial Park bandstand featuring Lebanon’s own Tim Neuman! The music starts at 8:00pm and goes until 10:00pm on Friday, July 2nd. Bring your family and jam out to a variety of genres for all ages!

 

Zionsville Big Boom 5k

Start your holiday morning off with a walk, jog, or run in the Zionsville Big Boom 5k on July 4th at 7:30am. There will be pizza and refreshments after the race and medals to all finishers! Register here.

 

Boone County 4th of July Parade

Watch the Boone Country Parade as it winds throughout Lebanon. You’ll see the local high school band, dance teams, businesses, churches, and more on July 4th at 1pm! Make sure to bring a bag for all your candy and come early to stake out a good spot!

 

Zionsville Lions Park Celebration

Join in on the celebration on July 4th starting at 5pm in Lions Park. The celebration will include music, bounce houses, festival food, kids’ games, and a ticket raffle with a chance to win prizes! Fireworks will conclude the evening, beginning at dusk.

Firework shows will take place across Boone County. Don’t miss out on a spectacular firework show to end the holiday!
