Halloween fun abounds in Boone County this weekend! Check out some of what’s happening:
Thursday, October 25
- Join Signature Health Care at Parkwood for their annual Trunk or Treat from 5-7 p.m. in Lebanon. All families are welcome.
- The Annual Boone Village Halloween party in Zionsville is from 5:30-7 p.m. Come out for safe trick or treating with the merchants and service groups of Zionsville in Boone Village. Special guests include the Zionsville Fire Department and Zionsville Police Department.
- The Headless Horseman rides again at the Indiana Fear Farm in Jamestown. This haunted hayride has been scaring and entertaining it’s visitors for years. Hours are 7-10 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday and 7-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
- It’s opening night for Fright Forest in Lebanon at Abner Longley Park. Enter if you dare from 7:30-11 p.m. With over 11 scenes, this haunted trail is a great place for a fun Halloween night. The trail is also open Friday and Saturday night.
Friday, October 26
- Put on your favorite costume and come meet the residents and team members at Zionsville Meadows from 6-8 p.m.
Saturday, October 27
- Dull’s Tree Farm in Thorntown is hosting their Pumpkin Harvest from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday and 1-7 p.m. on Sunday. With an 8 acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, 100 ft slides, apple cannons, and more, you are bound to spend the day with the whole family growing memories on their 40 acre Christmas tree farm.
- Trick or treat at the Whitestown Municipal Complex at 10 a.m. Costume awards and door prizes will be given away.
- Join Whitestown Parks for their annual costume Halloween 5K at 11 a.m. All ages, as well as pets, are welcome. No registration is required.
- Thorntown’s Heavenly Acres Farm is hosting a free Fall Farm Fun event. Enjoy hayrides, pick a pumpkin, kiss an alpaca, pet a turkey and more! The farm will be open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Fright Free hours at Fright Forest in Lebanon are from 4-6 p.m. Kiddos will have the opportunity to walk through the trail and trick-or-treat.
- Enjoy trick or treating, live music and kids activities at Mischief on Meridian on the square in downtown Lebanon from 5-8 p.m.
- Stop by Books and Brews in Zionsville for Drink or Treat. Family fun trivia is from 5-7 p.m. followed by live music from 8-10 p.m.
- Run in the Trick or Trot 5K in Lebanon. The 5K begins at 5:15 p.m. and the Kids’ Pumpkin Dash begins at 5:30 p.m.
- Take your pet to Pet Supplies Plus in Whitestown for the Halloween Costume Pawty from 6-8 p.m.
Sunday, October 28
- Enjoy pumpkin painting, hayrides, bounce houses, food and more at Lions Park in Zionsville from 2-5 p.m. This free event is open to the community.
- Come shake it with other ghouls and goblins for a 90-Min Dance Fit Halloween Bash at 3 p.m. at the Whitestown Municipal Complex.
- Trick or treat in Thorntown from 6-7:30 p.m. in the school parking lot. The event is sponsored by Dover Christian Church.
