Boone County, IN – The Boone County Chamber of Commerce, Boone County Economic Development Corporation, and the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Boone County Convention and Visitors Bureau, today announced the inaugural Bites of Boone County Restaurant Week will occur November 3-7.

 

Bites of Boone County is a restaurant week event that highlights locally owned Boone County restaurants. Participating restaurants will offer a special meal or a discount to diners.  More than 25 local restaurants plan to participate in the event.

 

“Restaurants are crucial to our local economic and tourism efforts,” said Molly Whitehead, Boone EDC executive director. “We want to encourage diners to support our local eateries especially during this time.”

 

“We are encouraged to see so many local restaurants participating,” said Allyson Gutwein, Zionsville Chamber of Commerce executive director.  “There are a variety of dining options, from dessert to a 3- or 4-course menu, which will appeal to a many different audiences.”

“We know this is a challenging time for many of our restaurant members.” said Diane Schultz, Boone County Chamber of Commerce executive director, “We hope this event encourages Boone County residents and visitors to try a new restaurant, support their favorite restaurants, and share their positive experiences with others.”
