Connecting Local Companies with Local Organizations

for An Impactful Day of Service

Friday, October 6, 2023

The Boone County Day of Service, hosted by the Boone EDC, is an opportunity to connect local companies with community organizations to make a difference and promote the spirit of volunteerism. It is an event that reminds us of the difference we can truly make when we work together.

We are connecting with local communities and nonprofits to identify a wide variety of projects ranging from painting and landscaping to wheelchair ramp builds and trail projects.

This year we are pleased to have a record number of companies and volunteers dedicating their time, efforts and energy to making a positive impact on our community.

With that record number of participating companies in 2023, we have opened up 2024 Day of Service commitments early. Our 2024 Boone EDC Day of Service will be Thursday October 3, 2024. We ask all companies and organizations to fill out the service form to save your spot. We also will be sending out our 2024 Day of Service sponsorship opportunities sometime in the first quarter of 2024. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please email Jennifer Rubenstein at jennifer@betterinboone.org and she will make sure to contact you once those opportunities are available. Don’t miss out on the biggest impact on the community of the year.
