June 25th, 2015 — The Boone County Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) and the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) announced today a co-sponsored seminar for building businesses within Boone County. Launch Your Own Business will focus on the essential building blocks of a successful business from the earliest stages. “The Boone EDC is proud to work closely with great organizations like the ISBDC,” said Ben Worrell, Business Development Manager for the Boone EDC. “We are always looking for ways to promote and support our small business owners within the county. Are you thinking of starting your own business? Do you have a business idea, but you’re not quite sure what to do next? If so, the Central Indiana Small Business Development Center’s Launch Your Own Business seminar may be just right for you. This two-hour class is your first step towards small business ownership success. Every successful business is built on a solid foundation. This class will help you evaluate your business idea with that end in mind. And it will provide useful information to help you start your business on the right foot. This seminar is based on the ISBDC’s Launch Your Own Business workbook. Each participant will receive a copy of this 60-page, step-by-step guide and will be referenced during the seminar. |
Launch Your Own Business will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington Street, Lebanon.
The registration fee for Launch Your Own Business is $20 per person. Pre-registration by July 15 is required.
